This was a very busy weekend. Saturday we went to the No Scare Fair. Miguel couldn't be happier when he saw his budy Javier. As you may already know, there were lots...LOTS of candy and some other entertainment for the kids. Stuff like story telling, palm reading, dancing and music, face painting and halloween pictures coloring. Miguel probably had a sugar high, but it was fun.

Hickory, NC

We went to Hickory last weekend. It was kind if cold, but we had fun anyway. Saturday we went to the Grandfather Mountain...AMAZING!!! The colors were changing and everything was so beautiful that it looked like a postcard. After that we went to see the Linville Falls on the way back home. It was a nice walk to these gorgeous falls...we had so much fun!

Pumpkin Festival

This was the Pumpkin Festival organized by the Jaycees. It was at the Depot Park Downtown. It was from 2 to 8. In the beginning there were not many people, but after a while it was amazing! So many kids and families having fun. I worked and Miguel played and had fun, of course!

Attire at school

This year the student's at Miguel's school are wearing attire. It's amazing how cute they look...

Lee Regional Fair

We went to the Regional Fair today. It is a nice fair for such a small city and there are nice options of rides for any child to have a good time. Of course Miguel wanted to ride everything in there, but when we were having some fun it started to rain then we came home. It was ok...we came left after two hours and he said it was the best day ever...:) That's all I wanted!

Karate Kid Miguel

That's it...karate is one more activity we have twice a week. I thought it would be good for Miguel to get to know other kids. After two classes I decided to go from watching to participating. Yes!! I am also "karateing"...I thought I would just get some exercise and release the stress, but the truth is we are both having fun. Last week, there was a contest there and Miguel won. He was so proud of himself! It was amazing!

Cub scouts

Miguel started cub scouts about a month ago. He's having a blast and I never thought I would too, but I am...He is enjoying each meeting and I hope he can have lots of great experiences out of it.
